Swift Aeronautics is developing a solution that can detect, pinpoint, and autonomously suppress wildfires within minutes of ignition—a breakthrough that is needed to drastically reduce fire damage, response costs, and environmental impact.

Our Technology

Our aerial systems will operate autonomously, scanning vast areas, detecting threats, and deploying fire suppression payloads when necessary.

To achieve this, we are developing an AI driven risk detection system which fuses multiple data streams from on-board sensors, significantly reducing false positives while detecting fires faster than human operators.

Our system is being built for continuous operation, with self-charging drones and portable stations for flexible deployment enabling large-scale coverage.

Our aerial systems will be linked through a real-time service platform, providing instant alerts, AI-driven threat detection, and actionable insights for customers across environmental, security, and commercial sectors.

The Growing Wildfire Crisis

Wildfires are a major driver of climate change, contributing 6–8 billion tons of CO₂ annually—around 20% of global emissions, comparable to the entire global transportation sector. The area burned by wildfires has increased by 5.4% per year, now destroying an additional 6 million hectares annually—an area the size of Croatia.

The impact on biodiversity is severe, with nearly 3 billion animals killed or displaced in events like Australia’s 2020 wildfires.

Smoke and ash pollution significantly affect human health, increasing respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, particularly among vulnerable populations.

Economically, wildfires cause hundreds of billions in losses each year, with insured damages skyrocketing to $10 billion annually, compared to the same figure for the entire decade of 2000–2009. As wildfires become more frequent and severe, insurers are withdrawing coverage in high-risk areas, leaving millions of homes and businesses financially vulnerable, particularly in tourism, forestry, and agriculture-dependent regions.

With rising costs and increasing risks, a proactive, scalable wildfire detection and suppression system is urgently needed.
